Ascension

I dreamed of my mother the other night. She was preparing for death but before she could leave, she had to give an interview. She came into the house, walking past me through the living room and toward the stairs. She did not seem to know me and I was a little afraid that she was too far gone (toward death) to know me any more.

She went upstairs and I followed her. I saw her seated at the far side of the room and as I entered, she cheerfully called out my name in greeting, as she so often had done in life. I was relieved that she knew me still. I saw her then not in her human form but as a soft, fuzzy, bright white entity. She quickly regained her human form and I saw that she was wearing a very attractive blue dress with a printed bodice and solid blue skirt. She was slim and young-looking. And happy.

This was the first time I dreamed of her so vividly, since her death. She is always a comfort in my dreams, but most often from the periphery. She had changed in this dream, transitioned to a new phase, perhaps mirroring my own life and the beginning of my new journey.

Catalyst

I will be embarking soon on a career as a life coach. Hopefully, this will generate enough income to change the nature of my life.  I will henceforth be thinking of myself as a “Catalyst for Spare Change”.
